Windmill Hill Primary School is an Outstanding school in the Windmill Hill area of Runcorn. Bordered by the Mersey Forest, the school makes use of its surroundings with a unique Forest School built in to the school grounds, providing an enriched education for the pupils fortunate enough to attend such a well run school.

Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in its last two consecutive inspections in 2006 and 2013, the school was deemed Outstanding for Leadership and Management, Behaviour and Safety of Pupils, Quality of Teaching and the Achievements of Pupils.

The consecutive 'Outstanding' Ofsted reports is testament to the hard work and devotion that everyone associated with the school has towards the children.

Windmill Hill Primary School has been serving the Windmill Hill area of Runcorn since it was built in 1978. In the early years it was very much a local community school serving just residents from the local Windmill Hill estate, today however, they have children from all over the new town area of Runcorn. This is due to the excellent reputation the school has earned over the years.

There is a strong ethos at Windmill Hill aimed at allowing children to enjoy school in a safe and friendly environment, where learning is fun, creating a positive impact on each and every child that walks through its doors.

As well as the statutory information provided, the new school website is packed with content for children to enjoy, like various Quizzes, Photo Galleries and even a school Newsroom. When we took on this project, we acknowledged its intended audience and focused on making a website that was at its core, very user friendly.

There are various stages to developing your ideal website. As a client, your first order of business, is to sit down and realise the true pro's and con's of any potential project you wish to commit to. Following your own critical assessment of your own ideas and a willingness to procede. You may be at the stage were a developer such as 'Web Design Halton', can help and take on the project.
When a client first approaches 'Web Design Halton' to build a website. Our approach is to gather as much details for the new project as possible.
When an agreement has been made to commence a new project, the information stage commences.
This consists of a period, whereby data is collected by 'Web Design Halton'. Including various content, in the form of images, videos, music and text. When the extent of the content is assessed for suitable funtionalities, the design stage starts. Only at this stage, the actual development of the website begins.
